awapuni school dosen't take zero waste seriously

I think awapuni kids do not take zero-waste seriously.

This is a complaint about Awapuni school not doing zero waste properly.

Number one, my reason is that, most awapuni school kids don't actually think about where the plastics
and e-waste end up, the true thing is they land up in the land fill, and when the plastics have a trip the
landfill, they sometimes fall off, i noticed when i was behind a rubbish truck, there was pieces of plastic
falling off.
And those pieces will probably end up in a river, and end up in the ocean and then be eaten by a bird,
then the plastic still lives.

My second reason is teacher allow kids to bring plastic to school, including glad wrap, chip packets
and even straws from MILK! So they don't care about zero waste, but i know some teachers do, like
miss Forster, so that means she is being forced to allow plastic straws from milk, and that means the
true mastermind is Mr. Langford.

My third and final reason is we waste tones of electricity, first, during daily exercise, lunch and morning
tea, we leave the light on, i'll say we have approximately 18 compact fluorescent light bulbs, if you don't
know what they are there i can say the long ones, but now where onto multiplying them, we have 15
classes so, 15×18=270 so we are wasting 270 light bulbs and those long light bulbs use 60 watts, next its

60 watts × 270 light bulbs = 16200 watts!.

Second is we leave our chrome caster on (TV) and that uses about 2 watts, but that's no much.
We also leave our heater on and it uses 1.5 watts, now lets add all the watts together, so we have
already added up the light bulbs, it uses 16200, so let's do chromecast 2 watts × 15 chrome caster
= 30 watts, so now we're up to heater, it uses 1.5 watts, and there are 15 classes, so 1.5 watts × 15
classrooms = 22.5 watts, now we're going to add them all
together. 16200+30+22.5+16252.5 watts, THATS ALOT!
But wait, there more CHROMEBOOKS, if all the chromebooks where flat it takes 2.3 hours to charge,
and everyone in team pango has one, i’d say there's approximately 170 kids in team pango, and
chromebooks use 65 watts to fully charge, so 170 chromebooks × 65 watts= 11050 watts so 11050 +
16252.5 = 27302.5 that's heaps!

And that proves that Awapuni school does not take zero waste seriosly.

what is matariki

What is wāita?

Water like diamonds, come off tall chile
mountains, flowing into the saltwater
combining as one, flowing thru the currents,
moving together like a herd of sheep, and
finally getting to the smooth and soft sand.

That's what Wāita is.

Bubbly and cold
Flowing through the warm currents
Ending up nice, warm.
